Perhaps this ridiculously cumbersome procedure could be shortened by creating a toggle-able option to autosync upon closing/saving? This means that in order to properly ensure consistent syncing across devices I need to (in Device A) back out of the note, reopen the main app to trigger the autosync, then (in Device B) open the main app as opposed to the note itself. Moreover, one cannot sync from within a specific note itself, especially annoying because I mainly use the same 3 or 4 colornotes as checklists (via the widget). My problem is that step 2 should be unnecessary-when I close out a note on Device A, it saves that note, and Device B should, when syncing, automatically seek out that latest saved version. I tested behavior between the devices and discovered that the only way to ensure syncing consistently occurs across devices is as follows: My only quibble is that the syncing between the two is unpredictable-sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I love your product and use it on both my Nexus 7 and Droid x2. so the question is: if i make a manual backup copy of the /data/colornote/backup directory somewhere else on the sd card, and then do the log out and erase all data, and then put the sd copy of the /data/colornote/backup directory back, will it find the notes ok again? Reply Delete now it will not accept my valid google logon/password (these do work via browser gmail access), and there is no way to change it to, and no way to get rid of prompt other than 'log out' which erases all data, but presumably will let me enter the logon and restore that online sync, and then i will want to reload to date from sd backup which is more current. i have 2 google logons, one ending with and the other with, both work via browser, and i entered the hotmail one when i reloaded colornote and probably needed to enter the ending. Same problem as some of above, had to reload phone, colornote found sd backup copy of notes ok but keeps asking for online sync logon every time i start it. + You cannot find backup file list on your sdcard.ġ.Copy files to the /sdcard/data/colornote/backup or /mnt/sdcard/data/colornote/backup in file managerġ.
